The Sobrarbe region sits in the middle of the most rugged and spectacular stretch of the Pyrenean mountain range. The high peaks of Posets and Monte Perdido look down over its breathtaking, unspoilt territory. It is situated in the northern reaches of Huesca province, bordering with France above it, Ribagorza to its east, Somontano to the south and the Alto Gallego to the west.<\/div>\n

With a National Park and two Natural Parks to its name, Sobrarbe is considrered one of the most protected and best conserved areas in the whole of the Pyrenees. Although nature is its main attribute, visitors are pleasantly surprised and often delighted by its villages and rich cultural heritage.<\/div>\n

La Comarca de Sobrarbe se encuentra en el centro de los Pirineos, en la parte m\u00e1s abrupta y espectacular de esta cordillera. Sus altas cumbres, entre ellas Posets y Monte Perdido, presiden un territorio virgen y espectacular. Situada en la parte septentrional de la provincia de Huesca, limita al norte con Francia, al este con la Ribagorza, al sur con la comarca de Somontano y al oeste con la comarca del Alto G\u00e1llego.<\/p>

Un Parque Nacional y dos Parques Naturales son la mejor carta de presentaci\u00f3n para considerar esta comarca como una de las m\u00e1s protegidas y \u00a0mejor conservadas a nivel ambiental de todo el Pirineo. Y aunque la naturaleza sea el patrimonio m\u00e1s apreciado, pueblos y bienes culturales de gran valor, sorprender\u00e1n al visitante.<\/p>

Con la mejora de la Transpirenaica, los valles del Pirineo se acercan y hoy es posible recorrer todo el Pirineo Aragon\u00e9s es una sola jornada.<\/p>
