Muro de Roda is in the valley of La Fueva. This medieval style fort has been declared a building of Cultural Interest. It was built high up at a strategic point and is one of Huesca’s most spectacular monuments. It was documented in the 11th century as “muro maiore” up to 1134 when it was donated to the canons community at Roda de Isabena by king Ramiro the 2nd.
Perched on top of a ridge high above the valleys of La Fueva and the Cinca, you can reach it by a forest track from Tierrantona.
